FIRENZE, Florence in Italian, is a city considered Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The city acquires this recognition because it is where Art, Science and Literature are developed during the Renaissance. Colegio Firenze chooses its name as recognition of great thinkers and artists born in Florence among which are: Dante Alighieri, Giovanni Boccaccio Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo Buonarotti, Galileo Galilei, Niccolo Machiavelli, Amerigo Vespucci and others..
The symbol of our school is stylized into the heraldic emblem of the city of Firenze (the Flor de Lis) in which the initials C and F are subtly incorporated. The choice of color is due to its association with the concepts of stability, depth, loyalty, integrity, trust, wisdom, intelligence, faith, truth and eternity.
